Zoi is one of the most refreshing artists in the New Jersey underground, her work ranging in such diverse areas as iconography, experimental cartoon art, and naturalist ink illustration. There is a sense of worship and mystery in her work as if one stumbled upon a broken down church in the pines, only to find artifacts of much older and stranger nature. Even in her cartoons, you can find something real and connected, a funhouse filled with angels and wolves.
